At Warwick House Medical Aesthetics, Dr Simon Hammerton and Dr Sian Hanson treat facial lines and excessive armpit sweating, using injections with botulinum toxin type A. Most people know this as Botox®. This has just received a licence for the treatment of frown lines, under the trade name Vistabel®.
The Clinic is open on Saturday mornings from 10am to 1pm. Appointments are for thirty minutes and include an initial assessment and an opportunity for you to ask questions. Unlike many treatment centres, we make no charge for your initial consultation. There will only be a fee if you choose to proceed to treatment. Therapy for facial lines can be performed at that time or on a subsequent appointment. However, if you are having treatment for excessive armpit sweating, another appointment will be required because of the time taken.
We offer treatments for three facial areas:
- Frown lines - the vertical lines between the eyebrows when frowning
- Brow lines - the horizontal forehead lines related to raising the eyebrows
- Crows feet - lines radiating from the corner of the eyes when smiling
This is a private service not available through the NHS. Almost all patients will need their frown lines treating, and this treatment is offered at £200. One additional area can be treated for a total cost of £260, while for all three treatments we charge £300. Treatment for excessive armpit sweating is offered at £400.
