Practice nurses

Rebecca Parry (Lead Nurse), Elaine Bagwell, Caroline Parkin and Alison Short (HCA).
Our practice nurses work in the medical centre every day.Their duties include:- Our practice nurses also run several of the clinics as detailed earlier. Their special interests are:-

Community nurses

Our community nursing team is employed by Somerset Community Health to visit patients confined to home. They liaise closely with the Doctors to provide and co-ordinate nursing and medical care following discharge from hospital and for those with prolonged illness.

Community Midwife

Our community midwife holds weekly ante-natal clinics in Warwick House and co-ordinates parentcraft classes. She also visits patients at home when necessary for both ante-natal and post-natal care.

Physiotherapist

Appointments are made by referral from the doctors.

Dietician

Appointments are made by referral from the Doctors for those patients who need dietary advice as an adjunct to their medical care.

Health visitors

Angela Litstone, our health visitor specialises in the care of mothers, babies and preschool children. She calls at Warwick House every day during the week and can be telephoned on 01823 447370.
